I'm a General Practitioner and the founder of Huxley Practice, a boutique healthcare service in central Palma, Mallorca. I studied Medicine at the universities of St Andrews, Manchester and the Autonoma University of Madrid, graduating in 2010. After spending time as a junior doctor in the UK and Spain, I completed my GP training in 2016.
I hold postgraduate diplomas in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Obstetrics and Gynecology, and have worked extensively in women's health. As a narrative medicine specialist, I integrate storytelling into my clinical practice and interaction with patients. I also teach narrative medicine to medical students and postgraduates.
In addition to my clinical work, I'm a medical writer. Recent projects include contributing a chapter to Midlife Matters and creating content for MedTech companies. I write a regular health column for the Majorca Daily Bulletin and write on the intersection of medicine and arts through my Substack newsletter, Pills.
